Started after doing a layout for making a fixed saddle insert for the FG-300. The vintage Yamaha (uncompensated saddle) saddle angle (in relation to the strings) is steeper than modern guitars (compensated saddle), in an attempt at proper scale length compensation to get proper intonation. In theory, it mostly works.
Currently, layouts are done and article in progress.
