On 5/9/17 I noticed the Yamaha Guitar Archive was no longer found on Yamaha's server.

I emailed Yamaha customer support and he said they are doing major changes to the whole site and the Archive "should" be back up soon.
Approximately 2.5 years ago I emailed them and asked if they could send me the Yamaha Guitar Archive database. I figured "What do I have to lose??". He replied he couldn't send me the database BUT he did send me an Excel file with all the data. I have spend possibly hundreds of hours correcting, refining, and adding models I've found.
I also emailed Yamaha customer support, asking them for permission to share the data with others. Just in case. He replied today "Please feel free to share your guitar data.".
Sometime in the near future that file will be available in the Yamaha FG Info forum.
