Heya fellow Yamaha junkies, I'm considering purchasing an early 70's Japanese Tan label FG200 with a battered hardcase for around $150. Condition looks pretty good for the age, just waiting on more pics of the saddle to get an idea about the neck angle.
Can anyone chip in with comments on these? How does the price sound? Basically the same price as when it was new but $ has lost value of course...

You can be standing right in front of the truth and not necessarily see it, and people only get it when they’re ready to get it.
This isn't the common Taiwan FG-200, it was made in Japan, as you know. Does that make it worth more? Probably not, but it is kind of rare. I only have (7) Tan label NG FG-200's in my list vs. (31) Taiwan FG-200's.
The important part is how is the action?? And how does it sound??
