Looking for info on FG-350W

Can’t figure out how to add pictures?

The first digit would have to be an 8 or 9 since the FG-350W was made 1977 to 1981. I'd be amazed if you could read the date code on a rosewood FG! If the second digit is an 8 that would mean the date code is 68.5.30, which is 5/30/1979, which is 6 weeks before the serial number, that works. So the guitar was probably made 7/12/1979.

I found my FG-350W for $200!! I watch CraigsList all the time. I know he bought that guitar (crack in the finish on the heel) about 6 months earlier from a guy who has a bunch of FG's, only a few miles from my house. He needed some quick cash, I saw the add 10 minutes after it was posted. 1 strum and I was grinning ear to ear!! The earlier Red label FG's are even better, the FG-180 & FG-140, although you have to be aware of high action and the need for a neck reset.
