hello everyone, I don't have great stories to tell. I just wanted to share my joy for this instrument that I have owned for a few weeks. I bought this guitar because I wanted to enter the world of vintage Yamaha (I own an LL16 and a CJ32). I had read good things about these instruments but I thought they were a bit exaggerated stories. Instead now I admit that I could write those things myself. I own Guid (F50R, D60), Gibson, Larrivee (L10) and Santa Cruz and with the exception of Larrivee and Santa Cruz this FG 580 does not retreat in front of the others. I think I have a crush on this guitar. Now I am curious to try some FG 180/200 but I fear that to find something better I will have to look for FG2000 or L10 / 15 ..... I await your comments

Congrats!! That's a great model! It's not very common! Can you share the serial numbers & label for my list?
The high end FG's are very rare and very expensive. I doubt they sound 10X better than the lower model FG's. The FG-180 has gotten very expensive too.
You can add pictures by clicking on the "Add image to post" button in the upper right. It will open a window, drag a drop, it will add a thumbnail that will have to be clicked on to view the full size picture. Not perfect, but it's free.
Yes, I like (love) this back and side. This FG 580 is a near mint condition and so is anormal. Freets are 95%, action 12° freet is 3mm (1/8 inch) and saddle protrudes from the bridg 1/8 inch. This guitar is amazing condition, and seller was sellingit at anaffordable price. One of my best deals. Its sound in incredible
