12 string slotted head Tuning pegs

I was told by someone Allparts TK-0798-001 dropped right in his FG-230, with a couple of screw holes not lining up.  The FG-230 is an earlier version of the FG-312.  But it says they have a 1" (25.4mm) spacing.  It can be very difficult finding replacement parts for 40-50 year old guitars.

This one says 31/32", which is 24.6"mm.  Fractions are less than exact.  It would be nice if they had more dimensions, like the 1st to the 6th tuner shafts.  www.allparts.com/collections/tuning-keys/products/tk-7897-open-gear-6-in-line-strip-tuners

Unfortunately, you're not going to get too many more opinions than mine.  I think most people come here for research.
