I have been looking for a replacement bridge for my Yamaha FG-300 Tan label guitar. I can't find one anywhere, and from what I have read, there are none available. I'm thinking I may have to make a new part for the bone (or plastic, I don't know which) piece that broke. Any suggestions?
I was also studying the date information available on this site, but I can't find any information about the 5 digit serial number on my guitar. However, the serial number is very hard to read and it may have more than 5 digits, but I can't see any (see attached photo). I bought it sometime in the early to mid 1970's, but I don't remember when. Any ideas about the date?
