Yamaha FG-300 tuner & its cover

Can you share the label and serial number for my list?  The Tan label FG-300 is fairly rare.  Was it made in Japan or Taiwan??

These are not the typical FG-300 tuners, I'd have to guess this guitar was made in Taiwan in 1973, but I don't know for sure unless I have the serial numbers (upper & lower).  But, this is a common tuner for this era.  I may have some spare parts.  I'll try to check tonight.

The last digit is faint, so it is 4062? = 6/2?/1974.  This is the rarer version of the FG-300, Tan label, made in Japan, with the straight bridge pin arrangement, vs. the common curved arrangement.

I'm sorry I didn't get to look for the tuner parts last night.  I was working on a pain in the ass guitar, and I suddenly realized I should have been in bed.  4am comes early.

No worries, I knew that my serial number was incomplete and 4 digits (4062) also do not seem to be clear.  Thank you for identifying the DOB of my FG-300. I am glad I am getting to know more about my vintage axe.

By the way, can you please confirm if these are compatible with my tuners when you get a chance? It seems to be identical but wanted to double check with you before I purchase them.
