My dad left me his Guitar. I am new to this platform and the guitar as well. I'm 62 and have fair knowledge of music theory, however, the guitar has always seemed a mystery to me unlike the piano.
This guitar I believe is a Vintage Yamaha FG-150; The label is red or orange, directly above the label there is a "K" stamped in black ink. The label reads; YAMAHA GUITAR
FG - 150
NIPPON GAKKI
The serial number is fairly clear (2080413D) The only character in ? is the last one. I can't say with 100% confidence that it is indeed a "D" perhaps it could be a 0 or a symbol???
My intentions are to learn and play this guitar for myself.
I don't intend on selling it.
If any experts have an idea, please advise.
Also is this a good entry level guitar?
