Is there anywhere I could pick up a replacement part or another type of tuning peg assembly for this guitar?

They are pretty rare. I recently found and fixed a FG-300 for someone. yamahavintagefg.boards.net/thread/452/1970-yamaha-300-dumpster-guitar He got lucky and found a cover on Reverb. eBay is another possibility.
